Day 11 - Thursday - January 20, 2022

Pastor Cody Winkler

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)
“Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Fear is a liar! And we all said amen. Fear is also real and loud. It does not matter how often the goal is to feed faith and starve fear- the reality is fear wakes up ready to eat every day. Right now, as you are reading this devotional a fear you struggle with might be in the forefront of your mind. The reality is fear is a tool of the enemy. God’s word tells us multiple times to not be afraid, 365 times to be exact.

Discouragement is what leads to fear. To live discouraged means to be dislodged and dislocated from courage. When our courage (the ability to face any circumstance) is limited the enemy creeps in and brings fear. You heard me right…the enemy is a creeper.

Today don’t feed your fear. Starve it. Feed your faith. Whatever you are going through God is with you and His right hand will hold you. Not just any hand though: a victorious, undefeated, strong right hand.

Today’s Promise: God’s hand is holding you up, even when you can’t see it, He is working.
