Psalm 16:8

“I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.”

Pursuit Fixation is the ability to follow a moving object with the eyes. When the eyes are set to pursuit fixation they can follow the object and have the brain process information received and track the path of the moving object. In our lives, what we focus on will determine what our lives produce.

Life is constantly moving and changing. When the Lord is rightly set before us our focus remains such that our life will produce an unmovable outcome. The world can be a mess around us, pressure can be coming from all directions but because our eyes are set on the Lord, we won’t be moved by the distractions around us.

If there is inconsistency in your life, there might be a focus issue. Maybe God has given you a direction in your business or for your future. The enemy looks for gaps to distract your focus. If the enemy can get you to focus on everything that might go wrong, even though God gave the direction, you might make a choice to move away from God’s direction. Why? Because your focus was wrong.

To ensure you remain unmovable in the things of the Lord you must set the Lord always before you. When the Lord is your focus, you will be unmovable. Get your focus right and get your direction right.
